Victor heeft zijn trouwring opgezogen
VICTOR HEEFT ZIJN TROUWRING OPGEZOGEN is a live performance where unrehearsed actors follow real-time instructions, turning everyday moments into playful yet profound existential questions.
VICTOR HEEFT ZIJN TROUWRING OPGEZOGEN is a performance in which unrehearsed performers receive live instructions through in-ear monitors, guiding them through scenes from everyday life that gradually unfold into larger existential questions for the audience.
A man accidentally vacuums up his wedding ring and starts wondering where things go when they disappear — as if they’ve falling into a black hole. Another person lies in bed and wonders why we get up at all, if we simply return to the same bed at the end of the day. And when even a perfectly organised supermarket can’t even help us tell the difference between a mineral and an orange, maybe the universe itself is more chaotic than we think?
Because the performers act without full knowledge, their uncertainty and clumsiness become part of the work, while the voice-over highlights this existentialism as a central theme. As the performers are unaware of the bigger picture, the audience can connect the scenes and the narration, creating space for multiple interpretations around existentialism.
